About Michael Fox

Michael is a musician, composer and actor based in London. He is one half of the duo Michael and Michelle‘ with fellow musician and actor Michelle Dockery. Michael (Downton Abbey, Dunkirk, Endeavour) and co-star Michelle Dockery began singing and writing together between scenes, their sound taking influence from The Civil Wars and Angus and Julia Stone. They have released two, self-penned EPs via Decca, to critical acclaim, and toured extensively throughout the UK and Ireland. This tour coincides with the release of his second solo EP, Bones, produced by Mercury-nominated C. Duncan.

Michael draws from his unique experiences in front of the camera to score for media and theatre, most recently composing some of the music for the acclaimed National Theatre production of ‘Land of the Living’, in which he costarred with Juliet Stevenson.
As a songwriter, Michael pens poignant lyrics to sit within beautifully constructed melodies, brought to life with an instantly recognisable vocal. His inimitable style is highly sought after as a co-writer and collaborator.
