On the last Friday of most months, we have a Taizé-style service at St Michael’s Church at 6.30 pm The service is based on the worship of the Taizé community in France, and uses simple chants repeated many times as a way of focusing on God, and stilling the mind and body. This leads into a time of silence and then of prayer. Many find this simple reflective service very powerful. Click here to view a sample of Taizé worship.

Following the service, we move to the Vestry for something to eat and drink.

Whether you do not know this style of worship, or know and like it from the past, you are very welcome to join us.

See the calendar, in the column to the right, to check that on the last Friday of any month there is a Taize service.
