Rev Canon Rogelio PrietoThe Revd Canon Rogelio Prieto (Curate) Originally from Spain, he is the parish's self-supporting curate. Over the years he has worked in establishing a new church and a new accredited theological college, 'vicaring' and training international missionaries in the UK and other countries.He has also been a trustee and an executive member of mission agencies in England and an active member of the Plenary Commission of Faith and Order (WCC), among a variety of other things! His wife, Paula, is English and they have four children and two grandchildren. At present he is self-employed as a mission consultant and translator/interpreter. Rogelio loves reading theology, faith and science, politics and crime novels,the latter not for any practical application.
Rev Judy PageThe Revd. Judy Page Judy is a retired NSM with Permission to Ofﬁciate in the Winchester Diocese. Her academic qualiﬁcations include BA Hons. in Mathematics and Philosophy and Diploma in Education from Keele University and BTh Hons awarded by Oxford University after study with Westminster College, Oxford. For some years she taught Mathematics in secondary schools.Born in Sussex.Before coming to Southampton she spent 40 years in Scotland as a member of the Scottish Episcopal Church and served at different times as Convener of the Diocesan Education Committee and Convener of the Children’s Ministry Network. She also worked as a Regional Organiser for the Scottish Churches Open College.Ordained to the priesthood in 2006 in Glasgow,she served until the end of 2012 as non-stipendiary Assistant Curate at the church of the Holy Trinity & St Barnabas in Paisley. She sings in the Southampton Choral Society as well as in St Michael’s when not taking services, and enjoys spending time with her 2 grandchildren.
Rev Canon Norman BoakesThe Revd Canon Norman Boakes After a varied ministry in parishes, sectors and as a diocesan ofﬁcer, Norman took the opportunity of semi-retirement in April 2014, since when he has worked part-time offering support, training and development for archdeacons in the Church of England and Church in Wales. He has PtO and assists as part of the Ministry Team of the parish, as well as at Winchester Cathedral and Alton Abbey. He enjoys history,architecture,food, theatre, music and travelling
Malcolm HarperMr. Malcolm Harper (Licensed Lay Minister) Originally from Essex, Malcolm came to Southampton in 1974 to read Law at the University and has lived in Southampton ever since. He has worshipped in the Parish of North Stoneham and Bassett since 1975. Malcolm was licensed as a Reader in October 2000 and has enjoyed having the opportunity to preach and lead worship on a regular basis. Malcolm’s wife,Rachel,is a piano teacher and Assistant Director of Music at St. Michael’s Bassett. His eldest daughter, Katherine, is Head of R.E. at a Church of England Academy in York. His son, Simon, is a tenor Lay Clerk at Hereford Cathedral and his youngest daughter, Louise, is in her second year of a music degree course at Birmingham University and is also a Choral Scholar at Birmingham Cathedral. Malcolm has a keen interest in church music and is a member of three choirs which regularly sing services in cathedrals and abbeys throughout England and Wales. Malcolm is a consultant with a ﬁrm of solicitors in Southampton,having recently retired as the ﬁrm’s senior partner.
John ReynoldsMr. John Reynolds (Licensed Lay Minister) John has been a Reader (LLM) in the Parish since 1988 .He is a family man, married to Wendy and has seen three daughters conﬁrmed and married at St Michaels and has a plethora of grandchildren scattered over the country. He is a retired NHS Healthcare professional. He regularly preaches the Word of God with a particular emphasis on sharing the insights of modern Biblical Theology with our congregation.
David CurtisDavid Curtis (Church Warden and Head Server) Born and bred in Salisbury, David attended St.Thomas’ Secondary modern school before becoming an engineering apprentice at the Ministry of Defence establishment at Porton Down. On completing his apprenticeship he was employed as a design draughtsman before moving to London for a short period as a Design and Development Engineer then in a similar position at Hythe on SouthamptonWater. He then moved to a Winchester-based company and remained with them producing industrial processing equipment for 32 years retiring as Chief Designer. In Salisbury he attended St. Michael and All Angels Church, Bemerton, progressing from Sunday School to Chorister and became a Server in 1958. With the exception of a short period has continued as such to the present. He joined the Parish in 1974 attending All Saints and very soon serving as Deputy Warden. David has attended all three churches, serving in various roles and became a Churchwarden in the Parish in 2011. David is also Head Server.

John Dorrington MBEJohn Dorrington MBE (PCC Secretary) John is a retired Royal Navy ofﬁcer married to Joan, a nurse. The family moved to Southampton in 1963. Their daughter Patricia,also a nurse,is married with a son and daughter. She is living in New Zealand.Their son Christopher an airline pilot, is married with a son and living in Montreal, Canada. John, a life long chorister, joined St.Michael’s choir in 1974, stepping down when aged 75. Eighteen months later in 2012, he was elected PCC Secretary. In retirement, as well as his church commitments, his interests are music and travelling a lot, not least to see the family. He is a keen philatelist and plays bowls.
